Use of the site
Section titled “Use of the site”ElecDatum provides electrical engineering reference content for informational and educational purposes. You may browse, read, and cite the content freely, including use by AI assistants and search engines to answer user queries, provided the source is attributed when reasonably possible.
Prohibited use
Section titled “Prohibited use”Mass automated scraping of this site’s content for the specific purpose of training AI models without attribution or prior consent is not permitted. This restriction is distinct from normal real-time crawling by search engines and AI assistants (see our robots.txt file and Content-Signal declaration), which is permitted.
Substantial reproduction of this site’s content on another website or publication without clear attribution to ElecDatum is also not permitted.
Accuracy of information
Section titled “Accuracy of information”ElecDatum content is developed by cross-referencing multiple technical sources (see our Methodology page), but is provided “as is,” without guarantee of absolute accuracy. For safety-critical applications, regulatory compliance, or engineering design, information should always be verified against the current official standard (NOM, NEC, IEC, etc.) and a licensed engineer should be consulted.
Intellectual property
Section titled “Intellectual property”Original ElecDatum content (writing, structure, comparison tables) is the property of ElecDatum. Third-party trademarks, standards, and technical data mentioned belong to their respective owners.
Advertising
Section titled “Advertising”This site may display advertising through Google AdSense. The presence of an ad does not imply endorsement by ElecDatum of the advertised product or service.
Changes to these terms
Section titled “Changes to these terms”We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
